"When I spoke to Mel for the first time I practically grilled her. I asked how she would describe her style and I know from a later Facebook post she made that she found this a difficult question to answer. So Mel, now that I have had the privilege of having worked with you to put together our wedding I will attempt to tell you how I see it...

Mel is flexible. I missed self imposed deadlines, changed my mind, told her I wanted a particular style and then picked everything but that.. and Mel was cool the whole time.

Mel is committed. She would continue to probe things (in a totally non annoying way) to make sure we had fully considered all options. She could have easily just done what we asked for and considered her job done but she went the extra mile. She even got on my my now-husbands back about him not writing enough in his questionnaire (in a lovely way of course)!

Mel is articulate! We had read the script in advance and knew it was great.. but the way she delivered it on the day was just awesome. She genuinely has a great tone, pace and speaking voice... Enough that I noticed amongst all the other overwhelming feelings during the ceremony!
